Scenic Painting
In this course, I learned techniques like wet and dry brushing, sponging, blending, mixing paints, and highlighting and shadowing. These techniques were used to make different wood grains, brickwork, shadowing of shapes, river rocks, and ghost signs.

This is the final project for the course. I used a combination of all of the techniques I learned over the whole semester. Spatter, sponging, wet and dry blending, and mixing paints.
River Rocks - Wet brushing for blending for highlighting and shadowing, spray bottle for the water in the corners.
Shapes - free handing, dry brushing for blending, wet brushing the shadows, and sponging.
Architecture - half stencil and half free hand, sponging, wet brushing the highlights and shadows.
Ghost Sign - Free hand and stencil, mixing paints, dry brushing shadows and highlights, sponging rust, and splatter.
Bricks - Free had and stenciling, sponging, dry brushing, wet brushing the highlights and shadows, and a little splatter.
